Designed to WCAG 2.2 AA.
Prism explains documents that already carry real consequences — a missed deadline, a lapsed policy. That information needs to reach everyone who depends on it. Our design target across the site and the app is WCAG 2.2, Level AA. This is a standard we build and test against, not a third-party certification.
What that means in practice
Contrast
Body text is at least 8.5:1 against its background; the smallest text on the page never drops below 4.6:1. The one lighter brand blue is reserved for large elements — links and small accent text use a darker, AA-compliant blue instead.
Keyboard access
Every interactive element — links, buttons, form fields, the confirm/fix cards in the app — is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring.
Skip link
The first focusable element on every page lets you jump straight to the main content, skipping repeated navigation.
Structure
Pages use one ⟨h1⟩, ordered headings, and real landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer), so screen readers and other assistive technology can navigate by structure, not guesswork.
Status, not color alone
Anything shown with a status color (confidence, urgency, "watching") also carries text or an icon, so the information doesn’t depend on color perception.
Motion
The product’s only animation is a loading spinner while a document is being read. It respects your operating system’s reduced-motion setting.
